As a follow up to my first "so I met Jerry Springer" post, I wanted to share with you another pearl of wisdom that Jerry shared with me.
Jerry Springer firmly believes that, at a base level, people are all the same: rich, poor, educated, uneducated, noble, ignoble. We're all human and, at times of stress, our facades often come undone.
For example, if the preeminent English literature professor at Harvard walks into his house and finds his wife in bed with his best friend, he would not say:
"Lo! I seeith my wench hast copulated with my esteemed comrade. Welcome to my humble abode. Would you a glass of red or bubbly?"
Instead he would pick up a nearby chair and say:
"Get the fuck out of my house, you goddamn son of a bitch!"
Gotta love Jerry
