I just wanted to wish you all a very Happy Passover!
For those who don't know, Passover is an 8-day Jewish Holiday that celebrates the freedom and exodus of the Jewish slaves from Egypt during the reign of Pharaoh Ramses II about 3000 years ago (think Moses - "Let my people go!").
As part of the celebration, Jews aren't allowed to eat bread or any other food made out of bread-like products (muffins, doughnuts, etc) because those those products are baked in ovens and "rise." Instead, we eat Matzos, which is a cracker-like food which has not "risen" in an oven, so to speak.
In this regard, I'M STARVING!
I have no idea how people could survive on a low-carb diet. Passover started Saturday night and I'm already lusting over a New York all-beef hot dog in a BIG THICK HOT DOG BUN!
What's the point of eating a hot dog on Matzos? That's sacrilege!
